1. A feeling of discomfort or weakness caused by a lack of food, coupled with the desire to eat.

The Solution:

noun: Langar

1. A communal FREE kitchen.

So, what do we do?

1. We set up free communal kitchens in the heart of communities suffering from hunger, around the world;
2. We bake sustainability into our projects by serving at places of education so we give a hand up and not 'just' a handout;
3. We prove our impact by measuring the number of Quality Adjusted Life Years we add to humanity using Langar as an intervention.

Where do we serve?

Malawi

- In December 2016 we started serving nutritious food daily, at places of education, across Southern Malawi;
- We're currently serving up to 150,000 meals there a month;

Kenya

- In January 2023 we started serving food daily in Kajiado county, Kenya near the border region with Tanzania;
- We're currently serving up to 5,000 meals there a month;
